Acrylic Impasto on stretched canvas

…sigh…he’s breathtaking isn’t he? I had this photo stored in my computer for a long time. I always admired it but believed I would never be able to paint that tack. The original photo has silver ornaments and studs…I changed it to compliment the horse and my signature gold paint highlights.
My Black Andalusian Beauty and this one, Sir Camelot, are a great treasure to me. Selling these is truly painful but it’s what I do. One day, I will paint large pieces just for my own home.
